I have to say I am quite excited about the wiki sites. Was not aware that they were so easy to create and I can see them being useful for so many purposes. From families keeping family reunion plans coordinated and on track, to a small business where a central informational post may be needed from several offices at different locations.
I have started my eportfolio at

and not sure if I can create the site as I had imagined with my xmind map because of the constraints of the predetermined set up available. Still fiddling with how to edit it the way I would like. Onward.
Hi Cicely
ReplyDeleteI was curious to see how others were coming on their wiki and tried to view yours but was unable to. I don't know if others are having the same problem or if it is just on my end.
I too an still trying to figure out the quirks and get my wiki how I envisioned it.

I also was not able to view your site. Alex expained how to make it visible to everyone in the week 5 discussion.
ReplyDeleteHere is how you do it:
On the top right hand side click a button called "more actions"
then "manage site"
then "Sharing"
check the box that says "advanced permissions anyone in the world may view this site (make it public)
